Are you getting along okay with the people in your house?

I am, though it's a little strange. There's a woman named Maya, and a boy named Dipper. [ They're both pretty okay, even if Maya is a little...weird. ] Maya asked me when I arrived if I was a crazy murderer.

Maya and Dipper, huh? I think I've seen them around a couple times. [ even if he hasn't spoken to them personally. ] ...she sounds like something- maybe she's run into people like that before?

[ he sincerely hopes not. ]

Oh yeah- I'm in 1482 with Koujaku, I can't remember if I told you yet. But if you ever need anything, just let me know, okay?

That's fairly close, isn't it? I haven't talked to Koujaku yet. [ Then again, he's being a hermit, he hasn't talked to many people since he arrived that first day. ] Though I met Noiz the day I got here.

It should, probably. [ unless a serial killer kid moves in. ]

Ah, he's been busy, I think. [ aoba's gaze flicks to his bag again, and he shrugs with a rueful smile. ] Noiz isn't a bad guy, I think. Actually, I've got some stuff for him too.

Noiz wouldn't tell me anything about you until I proved that I knew you. [ noiz is secretly a protective teddy bear??? ]

I don't really get him sometimes, but I guess he was looking out for me in his own way.

I can understand why he'd be hesitant. I'm glad you have good friends to look out for you. [ even if they are all trying to get the aobooty ] It seems to be fairly peaceful here, though.

Normally it is, but I heard a while back there were murders. I don't really know the details though...

[ murders are never good news. ]

I suppose you'll have that anywhere you go. What is it usually like here?

Usually it seems like everyone's doing what they can and making the best of it. Even if the landlord tries to mess around with us.

Everyone I've met so far has been pretty nice. I didn't expect to be offered so much help. [ people actually working together what's that??? ]

I get the feeling the landlord isn't very popular though.

Yeah. I think it's because we're all in the same boat- being stuck here.

[ he shoots sei a look and laughs, shaking his head. ] I ran into a kid the other day who said he wanted to get a gun to shoot him-- so he's definitely not popular. Plus, he's the guy behind all this.

Is he that bad?

[ though he's not as sapped for strength as he was that first day, sei leans back on one of the walls. ] A boy I met was irritated that someone in my state was brought here.

I'm not sure- I haven't really talked with him, except for once.

[ maybe they should relocate again? ] You didn't look so good that day.

My health isn't very good, so doing much is difficult for me. [ understatement of the century, that. ] I'm actually doing better here than I did back in Oval Tower.

[ Speaking of relocating. ] Oh, are you thirsty or anything, Aoba? We have stuff in the kitchen.

Then maybe you'll feel a lot better soon too. [ he hopes so anyway. ]

I...was thinking of seeing if there's anyone around here I could talk to. About if there's anything I could do to make my health a little better here. [ Though he isn't sure if that's possible. It'd be nice if it was. He has the chance to, here in Holly Heights. ]
